General Information for delegates
La Cumbre is a three day event where trade professionals pre-schedule appointments to partake in various business meetings. The Insta-Match scheduling and messaging system is provided as a convenient tool designed to assist delegates quickly and effectively. This system allows delegates to request and confirm all their appointments. In order to maximize results at the event, it is critical to utilize this system on a consistent basis before arrival.
Prior to arriving at the event, please make sure to thoroughly review the Rules & Regulations. To review the Rules & Regulations, please click on the sidebar link. Upon arrival, delegates will visit the registration area to receive a personalized envelope with various material utilized throughout the event. All delegates will be required to provide personal identification, and a personal business card stating: full name, company name, title, and contact details to the registration staff.
In order to be courteous to all delegates, it is crucial to be present at all designated business meetings. Once a business meeting is complete, the exhibitor needs to provide the buyer with an adhesive to affix on the Hosted Buyer/Club Elite La Cumbre passport. All appointment taking exhibitor delegates will receive adhesives with their respective company name. It is important that the buyer request an adhesive from the exhibitor once their meeting has ended. These will serve as verification that individual business meetings were conducted.
Hosted Buyers will submit their passport at the end of the event. If all conditions and requirements have been met, they will receive their registration fee reimbursement and participate in the Club Elite raffle. Please be advised that NO SIGNATURES WILL BE ACCEPTED IN PLACE OF ADHESIVES, NO EXCEPTIONS. Hosted buyers should also be advised to request the Destination and Product Presentation sticker, when exiting the attended Presentation(s).
Additional delegate material provided in each envelope includes: La Cumbre badge, appointment book, confirmed appointment adhesives, event itinerary, event rules and regulations, transportation information, floor plan, and the 2012 registration form, along with other material. Each delegate should review all material and information before accessing the show floor and event activities. Each delegate badge can only be used by the specific attendee, and must be worn inside the clear display of the badge holder.
Please be advised that a fee will be assessed in the amount 200 USD if a badge is lost or needs to be replaced, no exceptions. Please do not hesitate to contact the La Cumbre staff if you have any questions or concerns regarding delegate material.
Exhibitors will not be allowed to begin disassembling their booth until the closing luncheon is over at 3pm on the last day of the event.
